My learning story

Room 5 made little learning stories about the key competency of Participating and Contributing. We normally move the stars at the start and the end of the term. Here is mine.
 

Calendar art

Last term room 5 painted our calendar art. We drew a city with buildings. After, we drew over them with pastels and added some more detail to it. We drew it with pencil then added vivid over the top.

My Dad.

My Dad is often found in his police uniform or in shorts and t-shirts. He is also very strong. He has blue, round, sparkly eyes. He has hairy legs like a soft lions mane.

My Dad is very sporty. He plays a lot of sport, he especially likes basketball. Dad loves being funny. He is a clown, he loves telling me jokes. My Dad is very funny confident, he tries his best in everything!

My Dad is often found drinking a cup of coffee. He likes his coffee with green milk. Dad is always surfing on the Ipad. He always looking at soccer stuff. Dad works frantically. He spends hours at the Police Station.    

Dance at the Suter

Last week room 5 went to the Suter. We learnt some dances like follow the leader. Then we went in groups and made up our own from some of the pictures their.

My Amazing Holiday

On Tuesday my family went to Hanmer Springs.It was snowing their it was AWESOME. My brother my dad and I went to the pools I went on the super bowl IT WAS FUN. We did some mini golf I came 3rd. After we went to Christchurch we went their because we saw Disney on ice. We stayed with my nana. My nana gave me 50$ and I spent it all. While we were in Christchurch we went to my cousins house to watch the rugby.  My brother got a ice-cream cake for his birthday and another one at my cousins house.We also went to the museum Here are some photos.
