A&P Show

Coopers Biscuit.

Recently Room 5 entered the A&P show. You needed to decorate a biscuit and you also needed to make a fruit and veg novelty. I decorated two biscuit one to eat and one to enter. I also made a whale out of egg plant. It was SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! My best friend Floss came 3rd in the decorated biscuits her's is a cute Panda. For the fruit and veg novelty Lily came 1st in the year 4 competition. Here is the unicorn that Lily made. Cullen got very highly recommended on his shark out of  cucumber. Cullen also got 1st place in his biscuit.

Bridge valley camp!

Last week Room5 went on camp to Bridge valley camp.
My highlight was the Hydroslide and the aqua tramp when I jumped off it into the lake.
I was proud of the way I went from the top of the waterslide when last year I only went from half way.
We had a camp concert after dinner. My favourite act was Roar performed by Floss, Ruby R, Sylvie and Amba.

Sign language videos

Room 5 have been making sign language videos for reading. We have been learning about sign language because we have been learning in inquiry about all the different ways we communicate. We had to co-operate and discuss who was to say what parts and when to come in. Here is my video.
